Method 5: Color Replacement Tool
1 Open a digital image.
2 Save the file under a new name.
3 Select a foreground color with the Color Picker tool.
4 Select the Color Replacement tool and pick a brush size.
5 Click or drag in your image to change colors. Elements targets the color that is under the crosshairs in the center of the brush.

NOTE: The Color Replacement tool is a wonderful method of changing colors to an equivalent tone, but is unlikely to bring satisfactory results when replacing dark tones with a lighter color.
